It is with regret that the Board advises members that Rosie Rowlands has resigned as Treasurer. A change in Rosie’s professional workload and an increasing amount of business travel has meant she no longer feels that she will have the time to undertake the role. The Board thanks Rosie for her contribution over the last eighteen months as a director and treasurer, and we hope to see her out sailing during 2025.

The board is really pleased to announce it has co-opted (Jean) Hui Jiang to the role of Director and Treasurer, she will stand for election at the AGM in September 2025. Jean and her son are members, and Jean has sailed with us. Professionally Jean is a company director and a chartered accountant so well qualified to undertake the role. Rosie has agreed to offer continued support in the handover and the rest of the board will of course support Jean. We all look forward to working with her.
