Mulled Wine and Christmas Festivities in Port Erin

Seasons greetings to all! Inviting all our members to come South to enjoy all the Christmas festivities in Port Erin next Saturday, 7th December, starting from around 10.00 am (approx).

I am delighted to say that there will be an opportunity to support our wonderful charity by calling at Bushy’s stall on the railway platform and partaking of a noggin of Bushy’s scrumptious and  warming Mulled wine! Martin and Debbie are running the stall and Martin is once again ,very kindly,  donating all proceeds to SFTD. The stall opens 11. 00 am

During the day, there will be a lot of activity centered around the various venues :- at the railway station, with Rushen Silver Band,  school choirs, hot roasted chestnuts, dancing, great food at the Whistle Stop, drama and a visit from Mr S Claus. There is an all day event at the Erin Arts Centre with a big art and craft fair, hot food, tombola, quiz and raffles; at the Methodist Hall, children’s activities and games, plus a Nativity play, acted by Giant Puppets! St Catherine ‘s Hall on Church Road, is hosting a Manx Guild Craft Fair.

Together with all the splendid shops and hostelries, we are all set for a great day!
